IndependentVotersOfBrownCountyIN.com – This is a personal website/blog supporting more of a Christian and center-right political/journalist perspective. I share information and notes from county meetings, provide supporting documentation, and share research on issues.

Since 2016, I have routinely attended county council and commissioner meetings, which has contributed to an understanding of the challenges, constraints, and opportunities within the county. I have also frequently attended other board and commission meetings, including meetings of the Brown County Regional Sewer District (BCRSD) Board, Health Board, Area Plan Commission, and Board of Zoning Appeals. I also frequently attend conferences and meetings sponsored by the Regional Opportunity Initiative (ROI.

Brown County Matters on FacebookThe purpose of this Facebook group is to share information on county-specific issues – “matters” that matter to the citizens of Brown County. We avoid the social, political, and cultural issues that can be divisive and are discussed extensively and passionately on other sites.

Brown County Leader Network. Promote Successes, Raise Awareness, Support Volunteers, and Provide Support and Leadership for Improvement Through Proven Practices, Methods, and Tools.

Success Through Quality – This site intends to raise awareness of better methods for improving quality by reducing variation from the ideal to achieve a more perfect outcome. Reducing variation is the key to success in any aspect of life.  The good news is that any individual or group that has made a successful change has reduced variation that is described using different terms. A more conscious awareness and understanding of variation can improve effectiveness.  Includes a PDF Copy of Success Through Quality: Support Guide for the Journey to Continuous Improvement published by the American Society for Quality.
